Ramos "He truly feels it is the only time he directly feels he is helping people to hear a positive message to love their fellow man in words and in deeds..... to believe in the Bibles positive message of a better world and its promises by Jehovah God".
His interest in filming began in 2007 with small attempts of filming productions, but there was still much work to be done. He attended and graduated from Herbert H. Lehman College in the Bronx earning a BA in Business Administration, he also attended and graduated from Norwich University located in Vermont earning a degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership in 2013. After accomplishing his studies he again turned his focus on filming with the prospect of producing and directing and his own films.
His first official screened film premiered July 2011 at the Square One Theater in Connecticut, which included audience critiquing of the film draft. On February 2016 at the renown Cinema Village Theater in New York City under the title "Lights Out" (2016) his 90 minute documentary film draft premiered and was allowed to be critiqued. DVD's and digital sales of the documentary would initiate early 2017 after the assistant producer, Carmen Rolon, and Jose G. Ramos analyzed a final and mutually agreed upon a draft that would be sold to public. He is one of the CEO's of the film group, Ramos Films along with his son Christian G. Ramos.
Some directors that really captured Jose G. Ramos attention are: Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee, George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, Ang Lee, Charlie Chaplin. But, one director that left a permanent impression with his production was director Daniel Petrie with his movie called " Fort Apache, The Bronx". Jose G. Ramos stated "The movie captures The Bronx in the early 80's and reveals many of the truths that existed back then, and still is being dealt in our society today". Spike Lee also provided "Do The Right Thing", which provides a true glimpse of the final outcome for many low income citizens in NYC.
