Sophia Leanne Kelly was born in Leeds, Yorkshire, United Kingdom on April 24th, 1993 to parents Julie Kelly and Antony Kelly. Sophia trained in stage and screen acting, earning a National Diploma and graduating from LCC with a BA Honours in Performance Practice, winning a Special Achievement Award.
Sophia has worked in many professional theatre productions across the UK, including Dressed in Time, The Touring Consortium, Kes, To Sir With Love, An Inspector Calls, and A Tale of Two Cities. Sophia also played the leading role of Taylor Flint in the stage production of Mighty Atoms by Amanda Whittington. Passionate about Shakespeare, Sophia toured across the UK and Wales in productions such as A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It, and The Tempest.
As well as theatre, Sophia has worked in TV and short films including Four Letter Words for award-winning director Michael Stewart.
She made the jump to feature film with her debut as Tina Shepherd in multi-award-winning director Mike Clarke's A Light Through Coloured Glass.
