Andy Gilchrist(II)

Andy is an up-and-coming screenwriter who writes across children's animation, sitcoms and adult drama. He was most recently staffed to write episodes for an animated kids' series (US-Chinese co-production). He is represented by Sayle Screen.
He is a former showcased finalist at the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum (Children's Media) in 2016 with his original animated comedy The Undead Detectives Agency. His original scripts have previously been long-listed by BBC Writer's Room, BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum (TV Drama & TV Comedy), CBBC New Voices.
He was the winner of the Stage 32 Happy Writer's TV Writing Contest in 2015 (30min spec category), and won the Empire Award (Television Spec Script category) at the New York Screenplay Contest 2015.
He's also a previous finalist in the WHSmith's Short Story Competition above 50,000 other entrants, where his work was judged by the late Poet Laureate Ted Hughes and subsequently published.
He is developing several live action ideas.
