Bachelor of Arts in Communication and MA in Marketing Communications, Actress and Producer. Ivonne holds a 15-year experience in the fields of journalism, communications and entertainment in LATAM and the US; and has collaborated in multiple events related to the Venezuelan Film Industry.
She is a member of The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and works at BTF MEDIA (Maradona: Blessed Dream, El Secreto de Selena, Hasta que te Conocí), at the intersection of creativity and business, helping bring visions to life; while providing high quality service to BTF's top clients.
Besides her work as artist and producer, Ivonne has a high social sensitivity. She founded the non-profit Give Pan de Vida, aimed to help disadvantage children in Venezuela to overcome obstacles by means of arts. Because of that, in 2012 she was granted the Global Shapers Award by the World Economic Forum, thanks to her contributions towards improving the well-being of poor communities in her home country Venezuela. She was also invited by the World Economic Forum to attend the Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Tianjin, China and speak about the use of arts and cultural entrepreneurship to drive social change.
As actress, she is best known for her role in the Venezuelan film "Amor Cuesta Arriba", official selection of the Chicago Latino Film Festival, the NY Venezuelan Film Festival and the San Diego Latino Film Fest, and winner of seven awards at the Venezuelan Film Festival, including Best Picture. She is also part of the cast of "Sons Of Men", optioned by director and producer Stanley Isaacs from 100% Entertainment, under development. On television, she was part of the cast of the TV series "Dulce Amargo", "Eva La Trailera" and "Mi Familia Perfecta" by Telemundo/ NBC. Ivonne lives in Miami, where has completed studies with the Academy Award nominee actress Adriana Barraza. In the city, she has also performed at several theater plays and starred in short films.
