Neal Schrodetzki grew up in Arizona. He first discovered he loved filmmaking during a high school elective focused on screenwriting and directing.

After the military, Neal studied Film and Media Production at Arizona State University, survived a near-fatal motorcycle accident, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film.
Once in LA, he worked at KTLA as a writer and producer, where he and an Army buddy started Time To Kill Productions. In 2016 Neal left KTLA to distribute his first documentary feature The Unknowns, and to run TTK full time.
