Breaking up is hard, but breaking up on TV may be harder. Whether you're watching The Bachelor, The Bachelorette or one of its many equally addictive spinoffs, many contestants leave their show without a fairy-tale proposal or significant other. At the same time, those same ladies and gentlemen come home to a new level of fame and opportunity to find the man or woman of their dreams. Luckily for fans, they are able to watch the new relationships blossom or in some cases, watch statuses go from totally taken to totally single. Just this week, followers of ABC's franchise learned Luke Pell is back with his ex Holly Allen after sparks failed to fly on The Bachelor Winter Games. As...

Luke Pell has rekindling an old flame following some drama on Bachelor Nation and has made their relationship Instagram official. The Bachelor Winter Games and fan-favorite The Bachelorette season 12 alum, who lives in Nashville, has been dating Holly Allen, a Los Angeles resident and former Miss Wyoming USA, for the past couple of months. The two had maintained a long-distance relationship for several months last year, E! News has learned. In June, they attended the 2017 Cmt Music Awards together and also hung out with The Bachelorette season 11 star Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiancé Shawn Booth at a Bumble promotional event. We've come to the end of yet another journey, Bachelor Nation, with the dashing pillowy-lipped speedster who finished second in the Maynard 500 all the way back in 2012 set to choose between fake proposal publicist Becca and a plain bagel as his future wife. And here's a telling hint: Arie Luyendyk, Jr. can't even win his own race for love, when his only competition is himself.
I'm not one to read spoilers, but you'd have needed to spend the last month living under Luke Pell's rock or searching for Jef Holm's second F to miss that Bachelor season 22 is ending in controversy. We all have some idea of the Mesnickian conclusion racing towards us at 200 miles an hour, but in true Indy car fashion, it's going to take us five hours to get to the checkered flag.

The Bachelor franchise has seen a few falls from grace. Yet few have been as severe and as quick as what happened with Luke Pell on the finale of The Bachelor Winter Games. Throughout the shortened season of Winter Games, Luke seemed kind, considerate and charming. In fact, it appeared that ABC had made a huge mistake in going for Nick Viall over Luke for The Bachelor season 21.
Yet at the reunion all of the shine on Luke's Winter Games stint lost its luster. In quick succession Luke went from one of the most charming Bachelor stars to the most reviled and with very good reason.

Nick Viall looked for love, and now we know who he was looking at! The Bachelor’s new season premieres Jan. 2, and on Wednesday ABC revealed the contestants who vied for Viall’s thrice-shattered heart.
Overall, we’re noticing two positive trends among this season’s cast. First, most of these women seem legitimately employed (let’s recall that ‘Free Spirit’ and ‘Dog Lover’ have been job titles in the past). Second, the group appears somewhat diverse. Diversity has been a major issue for the Bachelor franchises in the past. In August, ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said she’d like to see changes, and that there was a “need to increase the pool of diverse candidates in the beginning.”

In an interview with People Now, host Chris Harrison reveals that Pell, the 31-year-old war veteran who melted hearts on JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette, almost clinched his spot as the series' next leading man over Nick Viall. "He was the front-runner," Harrison said about Pell. "Early on, he was the guy, for sure, and everybody knew it." However, producers kept coming back to Viall, who previously was the runner-up on Andi Dorfman's season and finished second place again when Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe left him brokenhearted.

When Nick Viall was announced as the next leading man of The Bachelor, fans were a bit polarized.
Many in Bachelor Nation wanted Luke Pell, who is still coming off his heartbreak with JoJo Fletcher on last season of The Bachelorette, to lead the show's upcoming 21st season.
But those spreading the #LukeforBachelor hashtag love are in luck. Bachelor host Chris Harrison says the 31-year-old veteran–turned–singer-songwriter still has a chance at finding love on the small screen.
"Luke would be a great Bachelor," Harrison, 45, told E! News. "You never know who could come back. He's a great guy – a super nice guy.

It's true: Luke Pell had his bags packed and his contract finalized. He was ready to fly to Los Angeles for the announcement that he would be the next Bachelor—until he got a call saying the network had gone a different direction. "Over the past few weeks leading up to the announcement, we had come to terms with a contract that everyone on both ends was happy with. We planned out what the season would look like in detail. They even asked about my sister coming on an episode of the show. Casting was almost, if not completely, finalized," he tells E! News. But everything ended abruptly last weekend. "The decision was made apparently on Sunday, and I was supposed to fly to L.A. Monday and already...
