America’s Got Talent: The Champions managed to save some of its biggest surprises for Monday’s grand finale — and we’re not just talking about that tongue-wagging performance from Kiss.
In true Agt fashion, the finale was a gloriously overdramatic hodgepodge of behind-the-scenes shenanigans and on-stage collaborations. Highlights included Season 5 superstar Lindsey Stirling helping Silhouettes tell another sad story about a man going off to war, V.Unbeatable teaming up with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and sand artist Kseniya Simonova doing her thing to the music of Angelina Jordan and Tyler Butler-Figuroa.

After just seven episodes, the “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” ends with the results finale on February 17 that will see the season 2 winner crowned. Over the course of five audition episodes, 40 acts from around the world performed, vying for one of 10 places in the final, which aired on Feb. 10.
There were three ways to make the Top 10: be the Golden Buzzer pick of one of the four judges; win the most votes in each episode from the superfans and studio audiences at the tapings last fall; or be saved by the judges.
Three of the judges were gave their Golden Buzzers to dance groups: Simon Cowell picked Boogie Storm, Alesha Dixon went with Silhouettes and Howie Mandel was bowled over by V.Unbeatable. The fourth, Heidi Klum, singled out singer Angelina Jordan. Unlike season 1, host Terry Crews was denied a chance to put an act straight through to the final.

Ten acts remain in the battle to become America’s Got Talent‘s next “World Champion,” and it’s still anyone’s guess which will emerge victorious. So let’s start guessing!
The 10 acts still standing include Alexa Lauenburger, whose fleet of well-trained dogs never fails to amuse the judges; Angelina Jordan, whose ethereal renditions of classic rock jams have been music to our ears; Boogie Storm, the Star Wars-themed dance crew that benefitted from Simon Cowell’s theft of Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer; Duo Transcend, a pair of acrobats whose athleticism and courage are matched only by their hotness; and Hans,...

He competes against nine other acts in the pre-taped final that airs on February 17. His closest competition among these other finalists is teenage singer Angelina Jordan. How is it that on the performance finale of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” two of the 10 acts received a red X from one of the judges? Howie Mandel was not a fan of the dancing storm troopers Boogie Storm and Simon Cowell was equally unimpressed with jack of all trades entertainer Hans (watch above). Both performers came to the finals with their own share of controversy which likely contributed to the underwhelming responses from the male judges.
On Boogie Storm’s preliminary night it was Howie who was in control of the Golden Buzzer, but Simon took that power from him when he hit the buzzer to send his favorite act of all time straight to the finals. Simon has always been a major fan of the costumed storm troopers, claiming on Monday night that they bring a message of hope that storm troopers can be seen as not...

The “Agt: The Champions” season 2 finale runs for two hours starting at 8 p.m. Et/Pt next Monday, February 17. While 40 acts started off this competition, it has now come down to just 10 finalists. Four of these were singled out by the judges for the Golden Buzzers while six of them survived last week’s semi-final.
As with last year, this second season of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” was taped. That includes this finale, which means that viewers won’t get to vote for the season 2 winner. That decision was left to the superfans, who were drawn from “Agt” viewers in all 50 states. But unlike last year, they weren’t the only ones who chose the finalists and eventual winner. The regular studio audiences got to chime in as well.

It's the time every student hates, but every reality TV viewers loves: finals. America's Got Talent: The Champions has reached the finals stage with six acts making it through to join the four Golden Buzzer recipients Angelina Jordan, Boogie Storm, Silhouettes and V.Unbeatable. Despite his valiant effort, 7-year-old insult comic JJ Pantano was sent packing. The Australia's Got Talent finalist took jabs at Heidi Klum and the age difference between her partners and suggested in 10 years they could get together. "But no promises, you might be too old for me by then," he said. He also poked fun at Howie Mandel for having Meghan Markle on Deal or No Deal and how she became English royalty and in exchange...

“I’m actually annoyed,” began Simon Cowell after Alesha Dixon hit her only Golden Buzzer of the season for Silhouettes on Monday night’s “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.” It turns out he wasn’t bothered about the choice itself though. Instead he finished, “That I couldn’t press the Golden Buzzer for that.” Ha! Both judges were incredibly moved by the shadow dancing routine that told the story of a young girl and the dog that remains by her side.
Silhouettes first appeared on “Agt” in 2011 and was the first shadow dancing group to compete on the series. In their time on season 6 the group performed four times, including a finale performance that garnered them a second place finish. Since then we’ve seen a handful of acts use the same style of storytelling in their auditions, something Howie Mandel acknowledged in telling Silhouettes that he measures each new act against them.

Monday’s third episode of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” got off to a rough start after several of the returning acts failed to impress the judges, particularly grumpmeister Simon Cowell. However, Simon’s buzzing of Freckled Sky, a video projection dance act, was a step too far for Alesha Dixon. “I see a party-pooper,” she proclaimed about her fellow judge from “Britain’s Got Talent.” Do you think Simon was wrong to give Freckled Sky a red “X,” or did their act simply fail to live up to the hype of “Champions”? Watch the “Agt” video above.

In NBC’s “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” new interview with Boogie Storm (aka the “Star Wars” Storm Trooper dancers), they were given the chance to talk about Simon Cowell‘s controversial Golden Buzzer from the second episode. Another week of America’s Got Talent: The Champions brought another series of questionable decisions made by the judges.
Howie Mandel was in possession of this week’s Golden Buzzer, and while I don’t blindly agree with every decision he makes (Hans!!!), I still believe in his right to choose. Sadly, Simon Cowell took that right from him midway through Monday’s episode, reaching across the table and slamming his hand down on the Golden Buzzer in support of — wait for it — Boogie Storm.
