"How do we kill it?!" "You can't." Uncork'd Ent. has released an official trailer for an indie horror film titled They Reach, marking the feature directorial debut of Pacific-Northwest filmmaker Sylas Dall. Set in 1979, the film follows a 13-year-old girl who stumbles upon a possessed reel-to-reel tape player. She unknowingly unleashes a demonic entity that haunts her family while slowly dragging the small town of Clarkston to Hell. The film stars Mary Madaline Roe as Jessica, with Morgan Chandler, Eden Campbell, Kyan Zielinski, Elizabeth Rhoades, Ash Calder, Frederick Floyd, Kara Puerschner, and Adrienne Jordan. This seems like it has a few cool ideas in it, and tons of horrifying scenes, maybe trying a bit too much. Still looks quite creepy. Here's the first official trailer (+ two posters) for Sylas Dall's They Reach, direct...

Exclusive: Amazon has opted not to order a second season of Bryan Cranston’s family comedy-drama The Dangerous Book For Boys. The decision comes four months after the series’ first season was released.
The cancellation should not come as a surprise. When Deadline asked new Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke about The Dangerous Book For Boys‘ renewal chances in June, she said, “It’s looking very tough for the cost of the show. It’s really difficult, coming from the genre where it exists and the kind of audience it’s drawing. The math doesn’t quite work.”
Created by Cranston and Greg Mottola based on the book by Conn and Hal Iggulden, the series follows the McKenna family as they cope with the untimely passing of Patrick (Chris Diamantopoulos), their patriarch and a whimsical inventor. His death has left the family reeling, but hope appears in the form of...

The cast and creators of Amazon’s forthcoming series The Dangerous Book for Boys took the stage to kick of Deadline’s The Contenders Emmys today. Show co-creators Bryan Cranston and Greg Mottola were joined on stage by stars Erinn Hayes, Gabriel Bateman, and Swoosie Kurtz to talk about what to expect from the series based on the book by Conn and Hal Iggulden.
One of the driving inspirations behind the adaptation is the fact that Cranston and Mottola are dads. “It’s a true family show that you want to watch with your kids,” he said. “We’re really excited about this.”
When Cranston was first offered the title, it was being developed as a drama, but it wasn’t clicking for him in that particular genre. He allowed himself to “let go” and said, “like a lightning bolt, it struck me.”

In a world where kids are more often than not glued to their screens, Sony Pictures TV’s “The Dangerous Book for Boys” aims to inspire a world of imagination and adventure.
In adapting the book by Conn Iggulden and Hal Iggulden, executive producer Bryan Cranston faced a unique challenge — given that the book doesn’t have any characters or plot. “It’s just a how to: how to build a fort, how to play baseball, how to talk to a girl, all of these things,” he tells Variety. “So everything had to start from scratch.”
Cranston credits the sensibility of the book with helping him shape the narrative. “It was the reason that the book was created that got me thinking and helped me to crack this story,” he says. “I wanted to follow along with that sensibility about the embracing of boyhood and allowing boys to be boys.

When one door closes another one opens. Well, that's what Erinn Hayes can say at least. The 41-year-old actress — who was recently fired from Kevin Can Wait after just one season — is already on a new Amazon show called The Dangerous Book for Boys, which will premiere on Friday, March 30, Deadline reported. Leah Remini — who seemingly took Erinn's spot on the sitcom —previously shared the news on Twitter following the Season 2 premiere of Kevin Can Wait in late September after a fan called her "classless" for stealing Erinn's job. They wrote, "I am all about your Scientology crusade. Classless that you hurt another actress when you don't need the money. Sh---y girl-code," to which Leah replied, "1. I didn"t make that decision 2. It's a sitcom [and] it isn't that deep 3. She is on another show 4. Real things are going on in the world." The Dangerous Book for Boys is based on...
