Most of us know Billy Corgan as the frontman of Smashing Pumpkins and outspokenness. But he’s also been the Owner and Promoter of the prestigious wrestling promotion the National Wrestling Alliance (Aka Nwa) since 2017. To say that Corgan is busy would be the understatement of the century. So it was surprising to hear that he’s starring in his own reality TV show, Billy Corgan’s Adventures in Carnyland. But I suppose everyone is diversifying in this complicated media landscape.
I was able to catch the first two episodes of Carnyland and it’s a fun enough time. I’d say that it’s very much geared towards wrestling fans, so fans of Smashing Pumpkins may be a little disappointed. But as a big wrestling fan, there’s a lot of interesting insight. All Elite Wrestling has been gaining new momentum following the stellar Revolution pay-per-view. The event saw Sting’s in-ring farewell coupled with a card of other standout matches. The company also landed top free agents in recent months including Adam Copeland, Will Ospreay, and Kazuchika Okada. Another new face has been teased on the way as soon as Wednesday’s Aew Big Business edition of Dynamite from Boston. A PPV quality card headlined by Samoa Joe defending the Aew championship against Wardlow. Given the setting and timing, fans are anticipating the debut of Mercedes Mone. Despite all the excitement, Tony Khan still feels the challenges of running a large pro wrestling company. The head has been forced to weather his fair share of storms in terms of talent exits, managing a roster of strong personalities, and growing Aew’s audience. Through it all, the young owner maintains his trademark positivity.

It’s a great time to be a professional wrestling fan. With so much content out there, it is hard to follow everything. But All Elite Wrestling should be celebrating this week because they will host the upcoming second “All In” professional wrestling pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium. With record-breaking ticket sales, it looks like fans are really looking forward to this event.
“All In” will occur on August 27, 2023, at Wembley Stadium in London, England. This will mark Aew’s debut in the United Kingdom, their first PPV event outside North America. All In will mark the first professional wrestling event to be held at present-day Wembley Stadium, with the stadium itself promoting it as part of the 100th anniversary of Wembley.
The event set Aew’s attendance and revenue record on first-day sales. It is estimated to break the paid attendance record for a professional wrestling event, with a reported...

Match #1: Young Bucks def. Aussie Open
My Thoughts: After all the hoo-hah about Aussie Open not being signed by any company right now, it was great to see them appear on Aew programming again after their brief appearances alongside Will Ospreay and their entry into Wednesday’s Battle Royale. This match was a great start to this week’s Rampage, kicking things off in a hot style. One for pure wrestling fans that’s for sure… Which makes a pleasant change from the recent influx of “story” based action in Aew.
