- Played by Robin Tunney in Hollywoodland (2006).
- Had the dubious distinction of being the first woman kicked out of Manhattan's famed Stork Club for engaging in a fist fight.
- Was engaged to George Reeves at the time of his death.
- Her body was found in her apartment on January 4, 1990. It was determined that she had died on December 30, 1989.
- First husband Jacob Webb was a great-great-grandson of Cornelius Vanderbilt. Three days after they eloped to Moncks Corner, S.C. (her wedding ring was a bottle opener), Webb was arrested at the Waldorf-Astoria for bouncing two checks made out to the Hotel Pierre; Leonore left him 5 days later. Webb sued Leonore for divorce in December 1945, citing desertion (ironically, he was awaiting sentencing for going AWOL from the Army). She obtained a divorce decree in Florida 3 months later.
