Chinese sales agent Rediance has boarded Ben Rivers’ upcoming documentary Bogancloch, a sequel to 2011’s award-winning Two Years At Sea.
Nestled in a vast highland forest in Scotland, Bogancloch is where modern day hermit Jake Williams lives his solitary life. It mark the second film in which UK filmmaker Rivers follows Williams, charting a subtly changing life in a radically changing world. It is told in an elliptical, non-expositional way, creating space for the viewer to read the film openly.
China-based Rediance has secured worldwide rights, excluding the UK and Germany.

Erika and Gia are best friends about to graduate from high school in Netflix’s new series “Boo, Bitch” when they realize that they’ve spent most of their formative years being mildly bullied and thoroughly boring. So in a last-ditch effort to leave their mark on high school forever, they decide to party it up right through prom. Unfortunately, the first night they muster up the courage to move past their social anxiety to party and drink, a freak accident leaves Erika dead — and confused.
“Boo, Bitch” is “Booksmart” meets “The Sixth Sense” for the “Riverdale” set, with a surprise twist that is worth the wait but you’ll need a couple of lattes to get there. The series stars Lana Condor as Erika Vu and Zoe Margaret Coletti (“Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”) as Gia, besties who have known each other since elementary school.

Late Thursday evening, HBO Max sent out a perplexing email that had subscribers — and even WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar — questioning what the heck is going on at the streaming service.
The message was brief, but very cryptic. According to screenshots, it had the subject line “Integration Test Email #1” and the body of the email simply read, “This template is used by integration tests only.”
Naturally, it left a bunch of HBO Max subscribers — and Twitter users wanting to get in on the avalanche of ensuing jokes — wondering what it meant or if it was some kind of marketing stunt (it wasn’t).
HBO Max apologized for the “inconvenience” in a tweet shortly after the email went out and even blamed an intern (who we surely hope still has a job) for the bungled email. In the immortal words of a certain fictional pop star, everybody makes mistakes and everybody has those days.

"A monument of New Orleans' past..." Bright Sun Films has debuted the first full trailer for a documentary titled Closed For Storm, marking the feature directorial debut of Jake Williams. You may have heard the story about this place and seen plenty of the photos online, now it's being made into a documentary. Closed For Storm is about the infamous Six Flags New Orleans, which shut down quickly for Hurricane Katrina, was flooded completely, then was left abandoned with all of the rides and structures still in place. The doc film covers the "incredible history of a massive, American theme park that was eventually left completely abandoned." What makes this film extra fascinating is hearing all of the local stories, and hearing from the people involved with this place, not just cool photos and that's it. This certainly looks like an intriguing doc. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for...
