Stephanie Jiang was born and raised in Taiwan. She received her B.A. in Film and Television from the University of California, Los Angeles and MSc in Comparative Literature from the University of Edinburgh.
She has extensive experience working on films and series in the U.S. and Taiwan, taking up roles in departments ranging from production, casting, camera, lighting, and art. Additionally, she has also developed a specialization in translation and cultural consulting tailored to international productions, working with writers, directors, and producers to develop and translate screenplays, treatments, and pitches.
Apart from her filmmaking work, she is also an established translator whose works include government websites and publications, as well as film and television subtitles. She is fluent in Chinese and English, proficient in French and Korean, and knows some Japanese.
