Laura Voigtmann
- Actress
Laura Voigtmann was born on June 2, 1996 in Kerkrade, Netherlands. She is an actress and screenwriter.
Laura grew up in a small country in the Southern of the Netherlands (Valkenburg aan de Geul). She was always fascinated by family entertainment and children's television. After years of dreaming, she decided that she wanted to give children the same feeling about shows as she got from watching them. She started acting in local amateur productions and writing children's shows for local television and theatre. After a few years she wanted to make this her profession.
In 2015 she founded her own production company for children's entertainment: The House of Laura. She created several theatre shows, entertainment programs for leisure parks and TV-series for local TV-networks (e.g. Flo: Avonturen in een Pretpark and Het Limburgs Pietenjournaal). With her gained experience she auditioned for the Studio100's theatre show Bumba in Dromenland (2016-2017), where she played the part of Bumba in a theatre tour in the Netherlands and Belgium. After this tour she kept playing the part of Bumba in theaters. This time in the theatre show 'Bumba en het Magische Wonderboek' (2017-2019).
In 2017 she decided to professionalize her company and founded the production house Voila Entertainment. She created a new web series for kids (Laura bezoekt...), produced a new theatre show with puppets (Snotje en Wratje Show: Griezelig leuk!) and started to work as a host and voice actress as well.
