Sting has extended his My Songs World Tour with a North American leg this fall. This follows his European tour that ran through July.
Sting has stated that fans will hear songs from his former band The Police and his solo career. Sting was the lead vocalist, songwriter and bassist for the Police, a prominent new wave band during the 70s and 80s.
He has won 17 Grammy Awards as a solo artist and band member, including Song of the Year for “Every Breath You Take.” He is also one of the world’s best-selling music artists, having sold over 100 million records.

Following a summer European trek that runs through July, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer-songwriter will open his North American solo tour in Toronto on September 5th, followed by dates at Morrison, Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, and more. The run concludes in Rogers, Arkansas on October 12th. The new shows will also include a special guest spot by Sting’s son and Fiction Plane frontman, Joe Sumner.
Update: Sting has announced additional shows in Wantagh, NY; Hollywood, Fl; Atlanta, Ga; Austin, TX; Portland, Or; Seattle, Wa; Reno, Nv; Irving, TX; and The Woodlands, TX. A ticket pre-sale for these shows is set Thursday, April 20th (use access code Vinyl), followed by a public on-sale on Friday, April 21st via Ticketmaster.

Sting has announced the 10-date My Songs tour, which kicks off in North America this fall. Something of a greatest hits show, the performances will feature the musician’s biggest records as a solo artist and his work with the Police.
