Alexander Richter is a Technical Director for Visual Effects and Animation feature films.
He was born in Taldy-Kurgan (Kasachstan) and moved to Germany in 1993. There his family moved regularly from town to town. He started his first studies in law but left after a promising study. A friend of his quoted once: "The lawyer you is an artist.". After that, he started to study "media computer science" to work on his first feature film _The 7Dwarf_ at the Animationsfarbik in Hamburg as a Technical Director for lighting and pipeline. Originally he was an intern in the IT department. In the following year, he started to study "Technical Directing" at the Filmakamdie Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany. There he worked on multiple ITFS Trailer (international trick film festival) including _Drool Pool_, Animan, Planeta De Queso and Los Mariachis.
In 2016 he won the VES award for his collaboration on the short VFX Film _Breaking Point_.
