Maggie Elizabeth May
- Actress
Maggie made her West End début with the original cast of Sister Act the Musical at the London Palladium. She understudied and had the privilege to play the role of Sister Mary Robert alongside Whoopi Goldberg when she joined the cast, this time as Mother Superior. Maggie and the Sister Act cast had the immense honor of performing for Queen Elizabeth II at The Royal Variety Performance. She also sang alongside Sister Act composer, Alan Menken, at the Sister Act Broadway Press Launch in New York City.
Returning to the Palladium, Maggie alternated her time playing a Munchkin and flying around Oz as Glinda the Good Witch (against Hannah Waddingham's Wicked Witch) in Andrew Lloyd Webber's revival of The Wizard of Oz, starring Michael Crawford. She was one of ten actors chosen to workshop the show with Lord Webber himself before it premiered on the West End.
Maggie trained at The Royal Academy of Music in London after earning her Bachelor's Degree at the University of California, Davis. She grew up in Sacramento, California.
