Mateo Vásquez or Mateo de Mossaicco was born in 1998 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, where he grew up. Since a very young age, he started off making films with his village friends. His fiction work started to became recognized in school and film clubs around his hometown.
His first short films, "The Patient" (2012), "Louco" (2013), "Zurto" (2013), "Scapular" (2014) and "He" (2014) where originally shown in his YouTube Channel, achieving lots of views. After gaining recognition in the social media, he made "Mango" (2015), "About How Juan's Eggs Changed Because of His Neighbor Brenda" (2015), "Quepiensas" (2016), "Beyond" (2017) , "Cloe" (2017) and finally "About How an Spectator Without Show Expected a Show of Spectators" (2017).
