- Luis Stefanon grew up in Los Angeles, California after his family moved from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing from Loyola Marymount University.
He began his career in entertainment at 20th Century Fox working as staff support for the sales department and was later promoted to the marketing team where he quickly ascended to become a Brand Marketing Manager overseeing the Fox and MGM catalog. Over the next 20 years he transitioned to other legacy studio including Warner Bros., Lionsgate and Paramount where he contributed to the launches of several emerging physical and digital delivery formats that shaped and transformed the industry. He later became the Director of Marketing & Brand Management at Cinedigm Entertainment where he helped drive the acquisition and distribution strategies for many independent films, TV series and a vast catalog of content that helped build the company's digital strategy.
Over his career, he has led marketing strategies for films and TV series of all genres including classic films like The Sound of Music (1965), Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961), Dirty Dancing (1987) and Halloween (2007) to iconic films like The Godfather (1972), The Terminator (1984) and The Blair Witch Project (1999).
