Carmen Águila, an actress by vocation and training, began her acting studies at the age of 16 and has not stopped to date. A student of various acting schools in Malaga, Granada and Madrid, she graduated in Drama at Arte 4 Estudio de Actores and won the Beca Talento scholarship to study a Master's Degree in Audiovisual Acting at TAI. She continues training and educating herself with various professionals such as Benito Zambrano, Ramón Quesada, Gracia Querejeta and Carlos Sedes. Professionally she works in series such as "La que se avecina" or "Si vienes repites". In 2020, after the pandemic, she also took a Master's degree in Audiovisual Production and Direction and began her career as a producer and director as well as a scriptwriter and actress. Her first work fulfilling these four profiles was the short film "Plata", which won several awards at international festivals, and "Lorca, pero no mucho". From then on, together with her sister Lucía García, she started the project "Polednice, la bruja del Mediodía", adapting the script of the Czech mythological play of the same name, which will serve as an educational tool to support the explanation of descriptive music. At the same time, she collaborates as a jury member in several renowned festivals such as the San Roque Film Festival or the Cabra Audiovisual Festival. As an actress, finished the filming of Génesis, directed by Ceres Machado and is working on her next project, La Elegida, with script by Salva Martos Cortés.
