Diego Migliorini is a film director and screenwriter from São Paulo, Brazil, living in Edinburgh, UK. His projects focus on social issues and representing minorities, in fictional narratives based on personal experiences and impressions.
Bachelor in filmmaking (FAAP-SP, 2019) with full scholarship, he has taken part in feature films, series, video clips and advertising, mainly as assistant director and script supervisor since 2014.
Through crowdfunding campaigns, he wrote, directed and produced the short-films "Delivery" (2017) and "Don't Call Me That" (2019), the latter been presented at over 30 film festivals worldwide, including Gramado Film Festival and Brussels Short Film Festival.
In 2023, his third short film, "Feira da Ladra," produced with an award from the São Paulo Department of Culture, premiered at FestIn in Lisbon and at Kinofórum in São Paulo, in addition to 10 other festivals so far.
