Roberto Jay began his professional career in New York City, writing as a freelance journalist for Harlem News Inc. He is the only son of three, with two younger sisters. Roberto made his stage debut starring in Jose Rivera's play, The Hours are Feminine, directed by Erica Weiss at The Goodman Theater in Chicago, which later took him to the screen. His TV credits include the Showtime drama American Rust (2021). His film work includes Blame (2021) and the soon to be released found footage thriller Caiman, featuring She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)'s Michel Curiel. His continuing intrigue for writing has since led him to write several short films, including his screenwriter debut Moon Talk (2021), which garnered several awards for best short screenplay. Also starring as its main protagonist, Roberto received several nominations and best acting awards from various film festivals across the country for his portrayal of an enigmatic young man with Dissociative Identity Disorder.
