Morrie Rosmarin is a film producer/director/writer and former investigative journalist. He has received and been nominated for numerous awards as a documentary and news magazine producer, director and writer for many of America's most respected broadcasts, including CBS 60 Minutes, NBC Dateline, Discovery, A & E and Court/Tru TV. He has worked closely with many of television's most admired journalists including Mike Wallace, Steve Kroft, Barbara Walters, and Stone Phillips. His work has been covered in the NY Times, Daily News, NY Post, New York Magazine, LA Times, Jewish Week, Jerusalem Post and other print and electronic media in the U.S., Canada and worldwide.
After a successful career as an editor at ABC 20/20, working on many award-winning news and documentary reports, Rosmarin turned to writing, directing and producing. Soon thereafter, Rosmarin began producing, directing and writing for many of America's top prime time broadcasts, including CBS 60 Minutes, 48 Hours and NBC Dateline. With the proliferation of Cable TV, Rosmarin began producing and directing documentaries for major cable outlets such as Discovery, A & E and Court/Tru TV. Many of his reports garnered wide critical acclaim and attention by legislators, regulators, print and broadcast media and law enforcement agencies as well as viewers in the U.S. and abroad.
BLOOD AND TEARS: The Arab-Israeli Conflict, Rosmarin's first feature documentary, which he produced, directed and co-wrote, utilizes dramatic footage, original interviews, graphics and archival material to reveal the true history of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
