Hugo Faz is a queer actor, performance artist, photographer and filmmaker who develops artistic research on the relations between the human body and the social body, having developed authorial performance acts for and performed at important festivals and institutions such as Mix Brasil, Virada Cultural de São Paulo, Satyrianas, SESC and the São Paulo LGBT Pride Parade the authorial performances "Runway" (2016), "Sugar Addiction" (2016), "CENSURADXS" (2017) and "Self-sufficiency" (2018). In the photography field, he's the author of "Amor, Sem Medo do Clichê" (2018), awarded at the Floripa na Foto festival and the "366 NuDays" and "100 NUDE Shoots (of Hugo)" (2017-present) projects, whose photographic collaborations were highlighted in publications such as Balaclava.Q (International), Advocate, Beautiful Mag and Instinct Mag (USA), Revista Brutal (Argentina), Pornceptual (Germany), among others, and having been published in the UN//TITLED" contemporary international queer art book. As an actor, Hugo Faz has starred in the feature film "Philosophy in the Boudoir" (2017) and in the short films "Coxinha 2" (2018) and "Isolatta" (2020). Hugo is also a member of Teatro da Pombagira, one of the most avant-garde theatre groups in the world, having performed in and co-produced "Sombra" (2018-20) and "Demønios" (2017-19) while also being the group's photographer and filmmaker, with productions featured at the Prague Quadrennial (2019), the Berlin Porn Film Festival (2019), the Choreoscope Video Music Festival (Barcelona, 2020) and the Post-Porn Festival de Marseille (2020).
