Fatima is no stranger to the stage and the entertainment industry celebrating a music career that spans over 30 years and the 20th anniversary of the debut album, "Fatima: Pleasure to Love You" under 786 Records.
Born of Pakistani and Filipino descent, Fatima was very fortunate to be born and raised in San Francisco. She resides here with her family. She has been blessed to perform all over the world and share the stage with many artists such as Santana, Goapele, Side A, Lea Salonga, and many more. She was a part of the Filipino American Music movement performing with artists such as Jocelyn Enriquez and KAI, to name a few.
Prior to her Album, Fatima established her career in music singing on the stage as an opera singer and Broadway darling. She was the lead in shows such as Evita, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, South Pacific, and Fanny. She sang all over the world and performed for 4 presidents, and sang for teams such as the Giants, 49ers, Raiders, and the Golden State Warriors. With the launch of her recording career, her singles "Do You Feel the Love" and "Crazy for You" climbed the Billboard charts hitting top 100 in the Rock, Independent, and Pop charts all over the world. She was also recognized by the Recording Academy (Grammys) for one of the Hot New Artists of 2001. She also made her mark in television and film on shows like American Idol where she made to to the Top 40 in season 2, the Grand Champion on the show The Talent Agency with Eva Longoria, a supporting role in the acclaimed film, "Bittermelon (2018)," by director HP Mendoza, and most recently, the host for the Virtual Pistahan Parade & Festival (2020 and 2021).
Fatima continues to share her love of music and her community by being involved in so many facets from singing, writing, producing, and promoting events.
