Diego Llaca Ojinaga is a film director, photographer, and director of photography from Mexico City, based in New York City. He currently attends New York University where he studies film and philosophy. His work is largely influenced by his interest in philosophy, particularly topics concerning death, existence, and morality. Having grown up in the digital era, Diego is an advocate of analog filmmaking, having worked with both 16mm, for "Cedric" and 35mm film for his upcoming short film produced in collaboration with FAMU International. In the last couple of years, Diego has directed and shot a number of short films in the United States, Mexico, and the Czech Republic in collaboration with a variety of filmmakers from all over the world.
