If you’re looking for an anime with a long title, well… the upcoming adaptation of the I’m a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl’s Pet novel series is certainly going to be on top of that list. Written by Nozomi Ginyoku with illustrations by Mitsuki Yano, the original novel series debuted in 2017 and has been published as a light novel series since 2018, with only two volumes as of the time of writing. The manga adaptation illustrated by Taro Shinonome has also been published since 2018 and has ten volumes as of the time of writing, with an 11th one being released later this year.

An official website opened today announced that a TV anime adaptation of Nozomi Ginyoku and Mitsuki Yano's I'm a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl's Pet light novel series is in production, while also revealing the main voice cast, a teaser visual and a commemorative illustration by manga adaptation artist Taro Shinonome. Tama will be voiced by Tasuku Hatanaka and Riho Sugiyama for his cat form, joined by Hinaki Yano as elf girl Aria. Additional details about the anime, such as production staff and release date, will be confirmed at a later date.
