Patrick Vaillancourt(V)
Patrick has been in the Canadian Military since 2011 and am Medically Releasing with PTSD, anxiety and depression.
In 2016 he was hit by a car and diagnosed with again with PTSD, anxiety and depression. In June 2017 he moved to Vancouver Island, Canada (Courtenay, BC) to be more in touch with nature and work on my mental health. Growing up I was a nationally ranked swimmer in Ontario and nationally ranked baseball player. He has represented Ontario in swim competitions and represented Ontario in the Canadian little league baseball championships. Part of his recovery is making videos and talking about his mental health. There's something about using social media as his "voice" which is something his never had before, especially in the Military. Telling his story and inspiring others is what gets me through the day, and what keeps him alive. He went to Centennial College in Toronto for police foundations, and York Mills C. I for high school in Toronto as well as George S Henry Academy. After being diagnosed with his mental health issues from the military, He decided to step away from law enforcement related jobs as it's a trigger. His much happier/healthy talking about mental health and helping others combat their struggles
