- Writer
After 12 years of experience in the corporate world, Manuela made the decision to transition to the world of cinema in 2015. She obtained a degree in screenwriting and directing from NY Film Academy.
Since then, Manuela has created and directed numerous projects for prominent agencies and clients in Sao Paulo. In 2018, her short film "Ana" was selected for 18 festivals across the globe and won 12 awards. Her directing talent also earned her a spot on the team of the Brazilian reality show "Juju Bootcamp" for E! Entertainment.
Now, she is gearing up for her most significant project yet with the documentary film "Mothers - Diaries of a Quarantine," a film where Manuela followed the life of several mothers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Inspired by these stories she wrote her first feature film, called "Mothers" - which is in development - while also continuing to work as a director for advertising films with major agencies and clients in Sao Paulo.
