Lifetime Renews Jennifer Love Hewitt series The Client List
Jennifer Love Hewitt quickly rebounded from her longtime CBS series Ghost Whisperer with solid ratings for her new Lifetime show The Client List. Variety reported that The Client List debuted April 8 to 2.8 million viewers, making the Sony Pictures Television-produced drama the most-viewed series debut for Lifetime since Drop Dead Diva in 2009. Lifetime rewarded Hewitt and her Client List team with a second season renewal of 15 new episodes. Hewitt and fellow producers Dannielle Thomas, Howard Braunstein, Jordan Budde, Efrem Seeger and John Tinker adapted the series from the 2010 Lifetime TV movie starring Hewitt as Riley, a single mom in a conservative Texas town who works in a day spa that operates secretly as a bordello...
