Even though Vivek Agnihotri received mixed reviews for his film Hate Story, he is now all set to turn producer with his next film titled Freedom under Vivek's flagship banner Vivek Agnihotri Creates. The story of Freedom, which will be a political & historic thriller deals, with the underbelly of the nation's capital, Delhi, and will be based from the time period of 1970s, when the Emergency was declared, till the turn of the millennium. While being based on a true story, it will also feature real life characters. Initially wanting to make the film with established actors, Vivek will now be going ahead with an ensemble cast that comprises Chandan Roy Sanyal, Shobhana and others. The story of Freedom which will go on floors in October 2012, has been penned by Agnihotri himself while the screenplay has been written by Vivek and Rohit Malhotra together.
