Neil Young And Crazy Horse have announced a new record, Psychedelic Pill, to be released Oct. 30 as a double CD, followed by a triple-lp release on Nov. 23. Recorded right after Americana, which found the reunited group covering old folk standards, the band's first album of original material in nearly a decade was produced by John Hanlon, Mark Humphreys, and Young himself, and comes in at a tight eight tracks—though three of those tracks are each more than 16 minutes long.
