Korean sales company M-Line Distribution has picked up Fox International Productions Korea’s local-language comedy thriller My Intimate Enemies, directed by Im Sang-soo, and is launching sales at Afm.
Im’s previous two films, The Housemaid (2010) and The Taste Of Money (2012), were both in Cannes competition their respective years, and sold to multiple territories including France and North America.
Starring Ryoo Seung-Bum (The Berlin File), the film also features known actors Go Joon-hee, Yang Ik-june, Kim Eung-su and Kim Ju-hyeok.
My Intimate Enemies is about a group of friends who get tangled up with a band of ruthless criminals after discovering a bag full of cash.
