It's been five years since Charlie Clements left EastEnders behind, with his character Bradley Branning falling to his death from the roof of the Queen Vic. Since then, he's kept busy with stage and screen work - and in October 2014, graduated with a Masters from Rada.
Returning to television, Clements appears in a new episode of Canadian crime drama Murdoch Mysteries, set in Toronto at the turn of the 20th century. His character Charlie Brackenreid is a copper with a dark secret - and is also the nephew of series regular Inspector Brackenreid (Thomas Craig).
Digital Spy caught up with Charlie to talk his latest role, his action ambitions and leaving EastEnders behind.
