Last summer, the Peacock Network released a horror series, Midnight, Texas, and while it didn't burn up the Nielsen ratings, it did well enough to score a season two renewal. This time out, NBC is introducing the science-fiction TV show, Reverie. Can it lure in enough "genre" fans to earn decent ratings and earn second season pickup? Will Reverie be cancelled or renewed for season two on NBC? Stay tuned. An NBC techno-thriller, Reverie stars Sarah Shahi, Dennis Haysbert, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Jessica Lu, Kathryn Morris, and John Fletcher. The drama centers on human behavior expert Mara Kint (Shahi), who retired from her career as a hostage negotiator, after a personal tragedy.
