If you were someone that didn’t rush out of the theater the second the credits started to roll in last year’s “Venom,” then you probably know exactly who the main villain of the sequel is going to be. The end-credits scene for the film introduced Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasaday, otherwise known as Carnage, teasing an epic battle in the forthcoming sequel. However, it appears that Harrelson won’t be alone in tormenting the title hero in “Venom 2.”
According to Deadline, Carnage will be joined by the Marvel villain known as Shriek in the upcoming “Venom 2.” While only one letter separating the two, you should definitely not confuse the evil Shriek with the adorable Shrek.
