Though CBS appears to be moving forward with a “Silence of the Lambs” sequel series, “Clarice,” focused on Clarice Starling, NBC had already proven that ‘Silence’ spin-offs can work extremely well on TV with the series, “Hannibal.” Unfortunately, “Hannibal” is a series that was well ahead of its time and was unceremoniously canceled before the story could really be fully told.
