2019 was a big year for Renée Zellweger. Not only did she have a popular Netflix series, “What/If” debut, but she of course starred in the biopic “Judy,” which would go on to land her a second Oscar trophy. But since 2019, she’s been Mia. Well, it appears she is ready for her return to the big screen, with the upcoming comedy film, “The Back Nine.”

According to Deadline, Zellweger has joined the cast as the lead in the new comedy film, “The Back Nine.” The film comes from director Michael Patrick King, based on a script he co-wrote with Jhoni Marchinko and Krista Smith.
