Instagram is launching a dedicated field on users’ profiles that will enable them to share their pronouns.
Of course, users could previously denote their pronouns in their bio sections, but now Instagram is unveiling a standalone field alongside other options for name, username, website, and bio. Pronouns will appear next to users’ names in a smaller, grey font.
“The new field is available in a few countries,” the company shared on Twitter, “with plans for more.”
