White Walker have long wispy white hair, a white beard and wrinkly, mummified white skin. They are bare-chested and seen on foot or mounted with ice spears, swords or daggers. They are found alone as well as leading Wights in attacks on the humans.
Animal wights are animals resurrected by the The Night Kingand possibly by other types of White Walkers. Animal wights can be used as mounts, beasts of burden or be used to attack the living.
The Night King has no hair or beard, a crown of ice horns atop his head and smoother but still wrinkled white skin. He is dressed in an upgraded version of black armor and seen on foot or mounted leading the ruling caste walkers, white walkers and wights. He has demonstrated the ability to raise the dead into wights and convert human babies into walkers.
Human Wights are humans resurrected by the The Night King as seen in Hardhome episode and possibly by other types of White Walkers. Human Wights can attack singularly or ferociously in packs.
Mythical creature wights are creatures resurrected by the The Night King as seen in Beyond the Wall episode of Viserion. A resurrected Viserion later was instrumental in breaching the wall at Eastwatch-at-the-Sea.
Ruling Caste White Walker's have long wispy white hair, a white beard and slightly smoother but still wrinkled white skin. They are dressed in black armor and seen on foot or mounted with ice lances or swords. They are impervious to fire and can extinguish it. They have super-strength and are skilled in battle.
Humans resurrected by human scientific experimentation such as when Gregor 'The Mountain' Clegane was saved from certain death by Qyburn who used experiments forbidden by Maesters of The Citadel to revive him.
Giant wights are giants resurrected by the The Night Kingand possibly by other types of White Walkers. Giant wights have been seen marching with the Night Kings' army of the undead.
Human Baby White Walkers, such as Craster's last son who was converted into a White Walker upon being touched by the The Night King in "Oathkeeper" or another Craster son taken in "What is Dead May Never Die".
Humans resurrected by Red Priest R'hilor magic, such as Jon Snow resurrected by Melisandre or Beric Dondarrion resurrected by Thoros of Myr.
In-betweens Wights, half Human and half Wight, such as Benjen Stark resurrected a Wight, but saved from full conversion by Leaf and the Children of the Forest.
