Poll: Paste Magazine’s Best B Movies of All Time
A B movie is a low-budget commercial movie. In its original usage the term identified films intended for distribution as the less-publicized bottom half of a double feature (akin to B-sides for recorded music). The production of these second features ceased by the end of the 1950s. To this day the term B movie continues to be used in its broader sense. Nowadays they represent a particular genre. The primary interest is prurient and many B movies display a high degree of craft and aesthetic ingenuity. (Source: Wikipedia)
