Way back in 1860 they had: No Phones. No Lights. No Motorcars. Not a single luxury! Imagine that. These persons born in the era of Abe Lincoln and the U.S. Civil War had no idea what was to come. That would be the wonders of the modern industrial age: Home electricity. Light bulbs. Telephones. And last but not least, Moving Pictures. If you had told Lizzy Borden or Annie Oakley that they would become famous because of that new invention called moving pictures, they would have thought you were crazy!
