Poll: Veiled (But Not Unvalued) Beauties
"Veiled" to be taken here in a very broad sense... Indeed, in a time where beauty relies on the "shown" and the sexy, whether for men or women, we tend to forget that many civilizations in the world had set modesty as a standard of 'beauty'.
This poll doesn't intend to elevate one style or fashion above another but only tries to show that even a veil or a headscarf shouldn't necessarily be considered as the antithesis of freedom, and certainly not of a certain vision of physical attraction.
Many actresses have worn a modest clothing for a specific role, one of them was "drawn" that way, and it would be a lie to say that they weren't feminine or attractive, regardless of any religious consideration.
In that regard, what is your favorite picture of a TV/movie woman wearing either a headscarf or a (non-bridal) veil?
