Plot: Viserys I hosts an Heir's Tournament to celebrate the presumed birth of a son to succeed him. Rhaenyra welcomes her uncle Daemon back to the Red Keep, while his reunion with his brother, Viserys is a rocky one. Viserys I makes a set of decisions important to the future of the realm.
Plot: Rhaenyra oversteps at the Small Council in offering advice about the trouble in the Stepstones. Ser Cristan joins the Kingsguard, while Ser Harrold Westerling becomes its Lord Commander. Viserys is urged to secure his succession through marriage. Daemon announces his future intentions.
Plot: Daemon and Corlys, battle their adversary, the Crabfeeder for control of the Narrow Sea trade routes in the Stepstone Islands. The realm celebrates Aegon's second nameday, while the royal court goes on a hunt in the Kingswood. Rhaenyra confronts the looming prospect of marriage.
Plot: Daemon declares himself King of the Stepstones and the Narrow Sea after defeating the Triarchy. Daemon introduces the princess to the Street of Silk after dark. Royal politics, "double standards" and behind the scene maneuvering move to the forefront.
Plot: Daemon finally visits his wife, Rhea in the Vale. Both, Viserys and Rhaenyra broker agreements with the Velaryons. Alicent seeks the truth about the princess. Ser Christian makes a proposal and a confession.
Plot: Ten years later: Rhaenyra navigates Alicent's continued speculation about her children. Daemon and Laena, now married and with two daughters, weigh an offer in Pentos. For children that have blood of the dragon, training with dragons and dragon binding are the order of the day.
Plot: As the families gather on Driftmark for a funeral, the end of two marriages makes a path for a new union. Aemond finally gets his dragon, but it comes at a price. Viserys calls for an end to infighting. Alicent demands justice for her son's loss.
Plot: Six years later: three generations of Westeros' ruling family gather for a reunion at the Red Keep. A critical Driftmark succession that becomes unsettled is decidedly resolved. Rhaenyra strike a bargain with Rhaenys.
Plot: Otto gathers the Houses of Westeros to affirm their allegiances. Alicent enlists Cole and Aemond to track down a missing Aegon, while Otto enlists the Cargylls twins to do the same. A royal cornation becomes more eventful than planned. Green seems to be the color of the day.
Plot: Rhaenyra tries to hold the realm together, while mourning a tragic loss. As war approaches, the realm's inhabitants are asked to choose a side. The Black council holds its first meeting. Aemond looks to settle an old score.
