Following the tribute to the male screen legends of French classic cinema (pre-1960), here's the obligatory homage to the classic "Beautés Fatales".
The expression, easily translatable as 'fatal beauty', refers to a woman whose breathtaking looks create the kind of encounters no male protagonist can recover from, or from our viewers' perspective, inspire a mix of attraction, fascination and even sometimes, suspicion.
