Earl died on 18 September 1985 in Whittier, California, USA.- Allirajah Subaskaran (born 2 March 1972), is a Sri Lankan Tamil entrepreneur, film producer, and the founder and chairman of Lycamobile, which launched in 2006 and now operates in 21 countries worldwide with a subscriber base over 5 billion customers. His Lyca Productions is based in Chennai, India and began with its first film Kaththi (2014). It is currently producing the science fiction thriller 2.0, touted to be India's costliest film. After announcing 2.0 and its budget Lyca Productions is the wealthiest production company in Asia till date. A very successful man who has now stepped into charity work is not going to stop his magnum opus step into the third world.
Allirajah Subaskaran and his mother Gnanambikai Allirajah founded a charity, The Gnanam Foundation, in 2010 in order to provide help for marginalised communities and those who have been abandoned without care during the Sri Lankan Civil War. It exists to extend funds to promote means of livelihood for those in need for specific projects on an individual, family or community basis. The Gnanam Foundation is based on the ethos of "teach a person to fish", providing opportunities for people to develop skills to support themselves. Since 2012, The Gnanam Foundation have partnered up with many other organisations including the British Asian Trust, Children's Hunger Relief and Muslim Aid to donate to a number of worthy causes. In 2015, The Gnanam Foundation set to construct 150 homes in the Vavuniya District of Sri Lanka.
In October 2011 Lycatel was ranked 1st in the Sunday Times 250 leading mid-market private companies. Allirajah received a gold award for Best Overall Enterprise in 2010 at the Asian Achievers Award ceremony for the impact he has made on the Asian community in the UK. Lyca Mobile got awarded the best MVNO, winning against Vodafone and O2 taking the lead in 2013. The Asian Voice Political and Public Life awarded Allirajah in 2011 its "International Entrepreneur of the Year' award.
In 2012 the English Asian Business Awards presented Allirajah with the "2011 Power Business of the Year" award, recognizing the growth of the Lycamobile business globally. As well as the "Social Entrepreneur of the Year" award. - For the last twenty years or so of his life, Arthur "Conky" Conkwright worked as a freelance photographer. He died of a heart attack just moments after completing a series of photographs taken of actress Jayne Mansfield at a Hollywood charity ball in Palm Springs, California. Before turning to photography Conkwright, had for a number of years, worked in sales and advertising in New York City.
He was survived by his wife Marie and daughter June. His son Robert, who was born around 1925, was not mentioned in his obituary. - Art Department

- A Lebanese actor of Palestinian Bedouin origins, born in Haifa, and then left it in 1948 with his father's family, leaving behind his mother and heading to Syria, then to Lebanon, where his artistic breakthrough was, so he began working on writing programs for the radio there, shifting between writing, editing, and composing music. He participated in many Lebanese and Egyptian series and films, and his writings also included "Ana Araby Aseel" and "El Qahwa," in addition to his role as Koji Kabuto in the anime series Grendizer in the late eighties. Hadad fell ill with heart disease, which caused him great suffering. In his advanced stages, doctors advised him not to sing on stage, but the music kept giving him strength. He traveled with his family to Denmark in 1990 and settled there, until he passed away in 1994, leaving a great artistic legacy.

Grammy-winning, Emmy and Annie-nominated composer and songwriter Alex Geringas had 16 #1 hits in Germany before moving to Los Angeles in 2011.
His songs have been performed by Snoop Dogg, Jessie J, Timbaland, Cher, Kelly Clarkson, Mary Lambert, Ben Schwartz, Dove Cameron and many more.
Alex's recent work includes the animated feature Arlo The Alligator Boy for Netflix which he wrote the score and co-wrote all the original songs, as well as the follow up series I Heart Arlo which debuted in August 2021. Alex is currently scoring his first DC project Batwheels and the Nick/Paramount+ Feature "Blue's Big City Adventure".
His other recent scores include the latest installments of the Trolls franchise Trollstopia and Trolls : The Beat Goes On for DreamWorks Animation. Alex has also recently written original songs for The Sponge Bob Movie : Sponge on the Run for Paramount and the comedy feature The War with Grandpa
Geringas has written a number of end title songs for the big screen including for such films as Ice Age : Collision Course, The Nut Job 2 : Nutty by Nature, Woody Woodpecker, and The Lego Ninjago Movie, which he also wrote additional music for.
