A. C. Tirulokachandar was an Indian film director and screenwriter who worked mainly in Tamil films from the 1960s to 1988. He also directed a few films in Hindi and Telugu. His 1969 Tamil film Deiva Magan was the first South Indian film to be submitted by India in a contest for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Adam Fortner was born in Chicago, but raised in South Florida. Adam's acting career began in High School, acting in theatre. Alan Rackley (Alan Porter Rackley) was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. He began singing and performing at a very early age. He made his stage debut at the age of 12 in Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi" with the Arkansas Opera Theatre (now the Opera Theatre at Wildewood) and later that same season starred as Amahl in "Amahl and the Night Visitors".
Alan pursued a professional operatic career, obtaining a degree in Vocal Arts from the University of Southern California. He has studied opera with Metropolitan Opera stars, worked under the baton of world-renowned conductors and has appeared with world-class singers and orchestras.
He decided to change the course of his career and, after acting studies at Stella Adler Academy, began working in musical theatre, appearing in many productions and receiving excellent reviews.

Alejandro Bracho co-starred in the 1989 James Bond film Licence to Kill as Perez, a henchman of the drug baron Franz Sanchez. Bracho also starred opposite Raul Julia in Romero [1988]. Internationally recognized as a virtuoso violinist and composer, Romanian-born Alexander Balanescu made his debut at the age of nine. He finished his studies at Julliard school, New York, his main teachers having been Dolly Korizer and Dorothy Delay. He was a member of the Arditti Quartett from 1983 to 1987, playing the contemporary classical repertoire. In 1987 he formed the Balanescu Quartet, with the goal to create a much more accessible and communicative new music. He gained a reputation as a truly interdisciplinary artist, composer, improviser as well as a performer. He has collaborated with musicians from such wide ranging fields as John Lurie, Gavin Bryars, Michael Nyman, Jack DeJohnette, John Surman, Andy Sheppard, and Carla Bley. His work has also taken him to the pop world, supporting the Pet Shop Boys and recording the music of David Byrne, Kraftwerk, the Yellow Magic Orchestra and collaborating with the German band "To Rococo rot" on their latest album. In his quest to reconnect with his Eastern European roots, recent projects include collaborations with the Hungarian group "Musikas" and singer Marta Sebestyen. Using folk material as a source of inspiration, Balanescu created the album "Luminitza". He also created material based on folk songs interpreted by the great Romanian singer Maria Tanase. More recently, Alexander completed a tour of England with Philip Glass and Foday Musa Suso, and developed a very special way of performing together with Mr. Suso, including improvisation and song.- Composer

Alexander 'Sandy' Faris was born to a Presbyterian minister and his school-mistress wife on 11 June 1921 in County Tyrone. He read music at Clare College, Cambridge, before war service with the Irish Guards and after demobilization resumed his musical studies at the Royal College of Music in London and - via a scholarship - The Juilliard School in New York. He subsequently conducted and arranged for the Royal Ballet, the Carl Rosa Opera Company and, briefly, for the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company and in the 1980s was the musical director for a television series 'The Gilbert and Sullivan Collection' which presented 11 of their comic operas.
