Tommy Sporrong was born 1978 in Bollnäs, Gävleborgs län. He moved to Hedemora, Dalarnas län when he was eight years old. He lived there until he was 18, then he moved back to Bollnäs for a couple of years to study industry on high school. When he was 21 years old he left Bollnäs and moved back to Hedemora for one year. In 2001 he moved from Hedemora to Gothenburg, for a job. He started to work with film in 2004.
