Athan Hilaki is best known as the frontman and the founder of the New York-based rock band Trapped In Static as well as one of the first members of the Greek indie pop band GAD. Hilaki, was born in Athens, Greece and moved to New York in January 2008. He started playing the keyboards at the age of 14 and guitar at the age of 16. He has collaborated (as a producer/sound engineer) and performed with many well-known musicians in Greece and the United States and has contributed in many albums and collections as guitarist, bassist, producer and sound engineer. He has performed at the Earthdance Festival 2007, European Music Day 2007, Cocacola Soundwave 2007, Rockwave Festival 2009, Move Music Festival 2013, CBGB Festival 2013, Live & Local 2012, 2013 and more. In 2010 he participated in the auditions for The X Factor 3 (Greece) that took place in New York. Distinguished member of THEAMA, the first and internationally acclaimed inclusive Greek theatre company consisted of disabled actors in its main composition (such as the renowned actor and director Vassilis Oikonomou who founded THEAMA in 2010, Marina Besiri, Christina Toumba, Giorgos Iliakis, Maria Mourelatou and himself) as well as by non-disabled ones (such as Michalis Tamboukas and Efi Toumba). His course as an excellent actor is expressed representatively in the documentary THE.AM.A. (2014), directed by Eliana Perifanou and Maria Sidiropoulou, which depicts the work of this exquisite theatre group and it was filmed mainly during the rehearsals and the performance of Edward Albee's first one-act play "The Zoo Story", a critically acclaimed production brilliantly directed by Vassilis Oikonomou. The park bench of the play -where Peter meets Jerry, who was played by Michalis Tamboukas- was theatrically 'transcribed' in the wheelchair used by Panos Zournatzidis, whose fine performance as Peter was also critically acclaimed. She also had important roles in cinema, in the films O methystakas (1950) in 1950 as Horn's mother and Madalena (1960) as Vougiouklaki's grandmother where she appears briefly. She played at the "Art Theater" in "The Bald Soprano" by Eugène Ionesco in 1961. She died at the age of 49 from cancer in July 1967.

Vassilis Alexakis was a Greek-French writer and self-translator of numerous novels in Greek, his mother tongue, and in French. The son of actor Giannis Alexakis, he was born in Greece. He first came to France in 1961 to study journalism at the university in Lille and returned to Greece in 1964 to perform his military service. Because of the military junta he went into exile to Paris in 1968 and stayed. But he traveled regularly to Greece throughout his lifetime. In 1995, he received the prestigious Prix Médicis for "La langue maternelle." In 2007, he received the Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française for "Ap. Greek violinist. The son of the Italian violinist Federico Bolognini Sr., who at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries worked in Greece and taught at the Athens Conservatory. He studied there, graduating from the course in 1917. A student of Joseph Bustidui. Then he improved his skills in Paris. He is best known as the concertmaster of the Athens State Orchestra from 1942 till 1963. From the end of the 1920s and until 1950 he also performed as part of the Athens Trio, founded by Dimitris Mitropoulos, initially with the cellist Ahilleas Papadimitriou; since 1931, the pianist Spyros Farantatos and the cellist Lida Kouroukli have played in the trio.
