Ruslan Alehno was born on October 14, 1981 in Bobruysk, Byelorussian SSR, USSR, now the Republic of Belarus. At 8 years old Ruslan was accepted into the music school. After completing his studies, he obtained a diploma playing the accordion and trumpet. He also plays the guitar, keyboards and drums. At 15 years old he leaves for his first concert tour in Moldova. At 16 years old he begins competing in various vocal competitions, where he successfully wins titles and prizes. After high school, Ruslan went to automotive college. During college, he does not forget about the music: he is playing in the band, representing his college at international singing competitions. He also performed in a theatrical studio. In 2002, during his concert tour in Spain, Ruslan was invited to join a famous Spanish boys band, however due to the previous contracts he couldn't stay.

Ruslan Alehno became wildly known and recognized after his victory in TV-show "People's artist-2" (Russian analog of "Pop Idol" and "American Idol") in 2004. Fans of the show highly scored his sincerity, artistic and singing talents. The first song after the show, "Unusual", quickly became the most played song on many radio and TV stations.
In 2005 Ruslan signed a contract with FBI-music Production Center. During that time he released his music album "Early or Late".
In 2008 Ruslan represented Belarus at Eurovision with song "Hasta la Vista". He also released another album titled "Hasta la Vista" and a new music video.
In 2012 Ruslan began new creative phase. He is recording new songs and preparing for a new tour. His new song "Won't forget" is already in rotation on radio stations, new video has been released. Another single released: We'll stay".
In May 2013 Ruslan released album of war songs "Heritage", which included the famous Russian songs of the World War II. According to Ruslan, his new album is a tribute to all war veterans.
In May 26, 2013 International Academy of Public Recognition presented Ruslan Alehno with the Award "For contribution to the development of Russian culture".
In March 2014, he released a new single "Heart of Glass" feat Russian superstar Valeriya.- Actor
