Media titan & superstar Joe Bonilla was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1968. His debut came very early in 1993 when he was selected to join the upstart Circle of Trust organization. By 1995, he had become the President of the organization as well as still a competitor. His vice-president, Quentin Lawrence, left the company to start his AWF brand. From 1996 to 2000, Lawrence vs. Bonilla was one of the biggest stores in MLSE. In 1997, he created GWF Monday Night Attitude (1997) for his COT brand to compete with the AWF. On January 1, 1998, he changed the name of the COT to the today's Global Wrestling Federation. At the same time, he became one of his own brand's biggest superstars as the Vanilla Bean. He went on to headline his company's then-biggest event, SummerSlamboree. In 1999, the GWF hit bigger heights due to the media-infused feud between Triple J (another main eventer) and himself. In November of 1999, the GWF went public on a New England-based business exchange, thus making Bonilla a prominent member of minor league sports-entertainment. 2000 marked a massive year for the company and Bonilla because the GWF rose in popularity so much; the promotion was named #1 for the first time in its history for upstate New York. However in late 2000 and early 2001, the GWF hit turbulent times where the brand was about to close down. But by mid 2001, the company hit a resurgence of vast proportions. Today, Joe Bonilla sits upon a growing media empire with the GWF and his other brands growing everyday.- Lillian Fitzgerald was born in October 1875 in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
